The hunger games raked in a worldwide ticket sales of $214 Million during its opening. It beat out the first Twilight movie in the international market. This wasn't so surprising considering the buzz this movie created before it was even shown. Those who read the book anticipated characters coming to life in the big screen the way they envisioned them as they read the book and it looks like they were not disappointed.
